Photo Credits & Attribution

Café photos on CaféWork come from several sources:

Google Places API: the majority of photos are sourced from Google Places and are subject to the Google Maps Platform Terms of Service. These photos are provided by business owners and Google Maps contributors.

Café owner submissions: some cafés provide their own photos directly.

User contributions: registered users may submit photos of cafés they have visited.

We endeavour to use only photos for which we have appropriate rights.

In accordance with Google Maps Platform requirements, we display appropriate attributions for photos sourced from Google Places. These attributions include:

• The photographer's or contributor's name where available
• A link to the contributor's Google Maps profile
• A "Via Google Maps" or equivalent notice

Google Places photos are used in accordance with the Google Maps Platform Terms of Service (cloud.google.com/maps-platform/terms). They are provided for informational purposes and remain the property of their respective authors.

By submitting a photo on CaféWork, you represent and warrant that:

• You took the photo yourself or have the necessary rights to share it
• The photo does not infringe the image rights or privacy of any person appearing in it
• The photo does not contain inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
• You grant us the right to use, display, and distribute the photo in connection with our service

We reserve the right to refuse or remove any photo that does not comply with these terms.

Café owners and managers may submit photos for their establishment. By submitting photos, they certify that:

• They are authorized to represent the establishment
• They own the rights to the submitted photos or have obtained the necessary permissions
• The photos accurately represent the current establishment

We reserve the right to select which photos to display and to adapt them to the format required by our interface.

To request removal of a photo belonging to you, contact us at privacy@cafe-work.com with the URL of the image and proof of your rights. We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and process the removal within 5 business days of validating your claim.

While we strive to respect intellectual property rights and obtain the necessary permissions for all photos displayed, errors may occur. If you believe a photo displayed on CaféWork infringes your rights, please contact us immediately so we can review and address the situation as quickly as possible.
